Taking a lesson from “The Lion and the Mouse,” a group of Vacaville second-graders learned firsthand on Monday that you don’t have to be big to make a big difference.
About 120 students from Cooper Elementary School spent March doing odd jobs and fundraisers for “Dollars for Dogs,” a project they started to raise money for the Vacaville Police Department K-9 Unit.
