FAIRFIELD — Numerous errors or omissions in the original contract to remodel the Solano Community College Fine Arts Building have resulted in a change order of an additional $53,800 in cost.
This is the second such change order on the project. The previous changes amounted to an additional $87,848. If approved, it would increase the total price of the project by a total of $140,360 for a grand total of $4.24 million, according to staff reports.
Those increased costs would have to be approved by the Solano Community College District Board of Trustees at their meeting Wednesday in Vacaville.
