FAIRFIELD — The Solano County Board of Education wants to switch from odd-year to even-year elections.
It voted unanimously for the move at its Wednesday special meeting. One reason listed in the board resolution is because even-year elections — which include the presidential election and other national elections — traditionally have a higher voter turnout.
