All Benicia teachers could soon get a raise–the first increase to salary schedules across the district in five years.
The Benicia Unified School Board on Thursday will vote on a two-year tentative agreement with the Benicia Teachers Association–a deal that took a year and six sessions at the bargaining table to negotiate. The deal would provide for a 2.5 percent raise for this school year–retroactive to last July–and another 2.5 percent raise this July.
