Solano Community College graduate Talia Champion-Benjamin’s graduation cap artfully announced with glitter that she was bound for California State University, Monterey this fall.
Monterey is where a proud Champion-Benjamin said she will be taking her next step to getting a business management degree.
“I feel good. I feel excited,” Champion-Benjamin said. “I could not have done this without my family.”
Not far away, nursing graduates Danelle Novales and Tabatha Anderson were also getting ready to take that walk onto Doc Hollister Stadium to get their diplomas Thursday at the college’s 70th commencement ceremony.
