I can’t believe it has been 8 months since my tenure began. Each day I find another reason to celebrate why this was one of the most positive moves in my professional career. When people ask me what I do, I respond by saying, “I am the Proud Superintendent of the Vallejo City Unified School District”. Each day I have the pleasure of meeting more and more employees, parents and community members who are willing to do whatever it takes to make our system better than it has ever been before, and competitive with the best in the nation.
