Twelve high school students competed this weekend in “Poetry Out Loud“, a poetry recitation contest. The winning student was Benicia High School senior Austin Car who recited “May You Always be the Darling of Fortune” by Jane Miller, and “The Children’s Hour” by Henry Wadsworth Longfellow.
