FAIRFIELD — Good news was hard to come by Monday in a joint meeting of Fairfield city and school leaders. The focus was on budgets and, to at least one official, it felt a little like a competition.
“It’s almost like, who’s got more doom and gloom,” said Superintendent Jacki Cottingim-Dias of the Fairfield-Suisun School District.
