SUISUN CITY — The Solano County Office of Education announced the Teacher of the Year and Classified School Employee of the Year for 2012-2013.
Michelle Daugherty, an art teacher at Fairfield High School, was named Teacher of the Year.
Ken Anderson, head custodian at Wardlaw Elementary School, was named Classified Employee of the Year.
Both of the teachers have a long history working in education. Anderson has been working at Wardlaw Elementary for the past 25 years. Daugherty has been teaching art at Fairfield High for 23 years.
