The Vallejo school board will hold a public hearing Wednesday on the reauthorization of Vallejo Charter School.
The charter school, the Vallejo City Unified School District’s second after Mare Island Technology Academy, was created to establish an elementary school in the Hiddenbrooke neighborhood and approved in 2007.
Vallejo Charter School, located on the former Davidson Elementary School campus in East Vallejo, follows the expeditionary learning model and is a K-8 school.
The dependent charter school has some of the highest test scores in the district.
