Solano County Office of Education’s Facebook Wall

Teaching American History in Solano County is the second federally-funded Teaching American History grant won through competitive application by the Solano County Office of Education in partnership with the History Project at UC Davis. As is required by the U.S. Department of Education Office of Innovation and Improvement, the primary goal of America on the World Stage is to increase teacher content knowledge, understanding, and appreciation of American history. On May 9, Certificates of Completion were given to nearly 30 Solano County history teachers during the History Lesson Showcase event held at the Solano County Office of Education.
