Byron Sosa’s final year at high school was full of changes, sometimes good, other times unwanted.
“It was kind of hard adjusting to it,” said the 17-year-old Jesse Bethel High School valedictorian, who went from bleeding the Spartan blue of Hogan High School to roaring with the Bethel Jaguars.
Hogan High School closed at the end of last school year, dispersing its remaining underclassmen — including Sosa — between Bethel and Vallejo high schools.
But however difficult the transition, Sosa still managed to do well and become Bethel’s top graduating student of 2012.
