FAIRFIELD — After more than a year of discussing it and several meetings highlighting the topic, a proposal to create election districts for school board members will likely be selected Thursday by the district board.
The Fairfield-Suisun School District is switching from an at-large election to seven districts from around the two cities. There are currently two options being considered by the board of trustees. Thursday night’s meeting will likely feature a vote by the board to finalize which of the two options will be selected.
