SCOE and the CA Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development present a workshop on Tuesday, October 2, with Kathy Glass on Mapping English Language Arts (ELA) Instructional Units with the Common Core. Glass will highlight some major aspects of the ELA Common Core State Standards (CCSS) and will feature a comprehensive curriculum map template for a targeted unit using the ELA CCSS and the tenets of backward design.
