The four components of the Liberty High School renovation that were tabled by the Benicia Unified School District Board of Trustees on Sept. 20 for a lack of competing bids will be back before the board this week so trustees may formally reject them.
The items — toilet room alterations, re-roofing, window replacement and landscaping at 350 East K St., which is also the district office — did not receive the expected number or quality of bids, “mainly due to limited advertising,” Supervisor of Maintenance Roy Owens wrote in a report to the board.
