Machines dominated the Vallejo school board meeting Wednesday as the Vallejo High School robotics team presented its program to an appreciative audience.
“Being in this is a dream come true, especially because I want to major in mechanical engineering,” said Anthony Kee, a Vallejo High School senior and a member of the school’s robotics team, known as the Zombots.
The team’s presentation was the highlight of an otherwise light agenda, with school board member Tony Ubalde leading a standing ovation of the Zombots.
“The passion and excitement you have is just so contagious,” Ubalde said.
