It’s back.
A formal facilities-sharing agreement, that is, between the city of Vacaville and the Vacaville Unified School District.
The City Council unanimously approved the new contract Tuesday night.
Back in 1998, the two parties had a similar joint-use venture that allowed both to use each other’s facilities for meetings, sporting events and more. But issues arose and, in 2009, the agreement ended. However, the sharing continued informally, until recently.
