Interested in how parents can prepare students for the new Common Core Standards? On Tuesday, March 12 from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m., SCOE will be offering a Parent Engagement workshop to address the Common Core State Standards and how parents can prepare their children to be successful. The workshop will focus on the areas of Mathematics and English Language Arts.

The SCOE Educational Services Team has prepared an overview of the instructional shifts and learning outcomes in a presentation geared towards parents. There is NO COST to attend, dinner will be provided, and child care will be available for children ages 4-12 years. The workshop, dinner, and child care are being provided FREE of charge. The deadline for registration is Friday, March 1.
