Nick Girimonte will be changing his workplace voice-mail message soon, replacing the words “acting principal of Dixon High School” with “principal.”
“It’s been a busy day,” he said Friday afternoon, just hours after the Dixon Unified School District’s five-member board of trustees unanimously named him as the school’s top administrator. “Nothing’s really changed, except for the title, but I had a lot of well-wishers today. So it’s been nice.”
