SUISUN CITY — You’d think winning multiple officer of the year awards in a past profession would have prepared him for teaching.
But after 28 years on the force, Angelo Bracco got an awakening in the classroom.
“Being a police officer was so much easier than a teacher,” the special education teacher at Solano Middle School in Vallejo told the crowd Wednesday after being named the 2012-13 Solano County Teacher of the Year at a ceremony at the Joseph A. Nelson Community Center in Suisun City.
