Vacaville Unified leaders, when they meet tonight in open session, will hear updates about the school district’s 2013-14 budget and the Early College High School program.
Kari Sousa, the district’s chief business official, likely will tell trustees that budget figures are in limbo until Gov. Jerry Brown releases the mid-May revision.
In a press conference last week, the governor tried to rally support for his Local Control Funding Formula, which will give school districts more control over the money they receive from the state and provide poorer districts with a larger share of state aid.
