BENICIA — The school district has agreed to split the cost of providing police officers at two campuses.
The cost-sharing arrangement would provide the city with much-needed cash as it looks to rebound from a $1.2 million general fund shortfall.
The City Council is set to approve the proposed two-year agreement on Tuesday. The Benicia Unified School District board approved it in March.
