Hundreds of Dixon High School students have realized their potential and enrolled in college, thanks to the influence of teacher Angela Scheuring. In recognition of her dedication to her students, the Dixon Unified School District has named her 2013-14 Teacher of the Year.

Over the nine years Scheuring has been at Dixon High, she has taught economics, math and technology.
