Daily Republic: Police: Vacaville teacher in custody after drugs, firearm found on campus

VACAVILLE — A Vacaville middle school teacher was arrested Thursday after police allegedly found drugs and a loaded firearm in his vehicle parked on Willis Jepson Middle School grounds, according to a police report.

Bobby Chambers, 53, a Chico resident, was arrested on suspicion of felony drug and firearms offenses after a “credible source” called police shortly after 10 a.m. and told them that Chambers allegedly had marijuana and a loaded weapon, police report.
