In the recent voting packet for participating in the city budget, the local Visitor & Convention Bureau had requested a couple of hundred thousand dollars to create a new “Brand” for Vallejo. Seriously? Thank the stars that request lost the vote.

We cannot consider a new “brand” for Vallejo until we clean up many things. And even then it should not take that much money to think of a new promotion for Vallejo. Seems to me that money might have lined a few pockets. What were they thinking anyway?
