Solano Community College officials on Wednesday unveiled a $48 million budget for fiscal year 2013-14, one with a nominal cost-of-living adjustment instead of cutbacks in programs and instructors.
Speaking to the eight-member board in the administration building on the main Fairfield campus, Yulian Ligioso, vice president of finance and administration, said expenses would exceed revenues by about $1 million in the coming year. Additionally, he estimated the ending fund balance will be $3.4 million, or about 7 percent of the general fund.
