Next year, we begin full implementation of our Wall to Wall Academies initiative at our comprehensive high schools, with every 10th grade student being enrolled in a high interest college/career academy. College/Career Academies are led by high school teachers, who are responsible for ensuring that the students meet A-G requirements for graduation and entry to a 4-year college, and are prepared for entry level careers.

In the 2013/14 school year we are adding two new academies to each comprehensive high school campus. This update will spotlight the Visual and Performing Arts Academy (VAPA) at Vallejo High School.
