Class sizes, budget to be discussed tonight in Dixon – The Reporter

Class-size reductions, a bilingual, dual-immersion language program, and an update on the 2013-14 state budget are on the agenda when Dixon Unified School District leaders meet tonight.

Superintendent Brian Dolan will lead the discussion on K-3 class-size reductions.

His remarks will come as school districts statewide are expected to begin gradually reducing K-3 class sizes until the student-teacher ratio reaches 24 to 1 in eight years.
