Monique McKee, a former resident and Fairfield High School graduate, has been named a Shasta County Superior Court judge.

McKee graduated from Fairfield High in 1983, from the University of California, Irvine, in 1987 with a degree in biological sciences and earned her law degree in two years at Southwestern University School of Law in Los Angeles.
