A contract that gives teachers a 3 percent raise costing a total of $2.2 million won unanimous approval Thursday by Fairfield-Suisun School District trustees.

The contract with the Fairfield-Suisun Unified Teachers Association covers the 2013-14 fiscal year. Teachers will receive a check for the retroactive pay increase.

The website for the teachers union said members had overwhelmingly ratified the measure with 370 of the 380 members who cast ballots voting in favor.
