11 apply for vacant Vacaville Unified trustee seat – The Reporter

Eleven residents of Vacaville Unified will vie for a vacant trustee seat left open after Jeremy Jeffreys resigned on Sept. 3, school district officials said Thursday.

In alphabetical order, as sent to The Reporter, they are Manuel Agredano, an employee at Save Mart Supermarket and longtime Vacaville resident; Cara Fox, co-owner of Fox Real Estate Group, a member of school site advisory councils, and a former City Council candidate; William Griffis, a respiratory therapist and district parent; John Jansen, a retired small-business owner and adjunct instructor at Solano Community College; Kristen Navarro, a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley, and a former substitute teacher at Country High, the district’s continuation school; and David Price, a business owner, retired police officer, and father of four whose wife, Sally, is an educator.
