He’s helping put Solano Community College on the political map – or is evidence of the public education “propaganda machine” failing to teach students about American history.

The Friday appearance by Sen. Bernie Sanders in Fairfield spurred those responses and more.

Monica Brown, a Solano College trustee, said the appearance by the candidate for the Democratic presidential nomination will boost the college’s status.
