After it was closed in full for 14 months, Peabody Road reopened with fanfare Thursday night with more than 200 people gathering to walk across the new road bridge.
Leading the way was the Vanden High School Drum Line, which marched across the new stretch of Peabody Road after Fairfield Mayor Harry Price cut the ribbon.People were posing for selfies to show they were standing on the new bridge.
