The president of the consultant firm TurnAround Schools says it’s awesome that educators with the Fairfield-Susuin School District are willing to come in for Saturday training – a one-day workshop that will cost the school district $4,800.

“She is fantastic and I’m sure to be well received by staff,” Dan Lopez, president of TurnAround said of Tina Schuler.

Schuler is the author of “Bridge Builder” and the Jan. 28 workshop she would conduct is about building student-teacher relationships.

The book looks at words teachers say when talking to students.
