A project labor agreement – praised as working for Solano County government and the city of Fairfield but panned as increasing costs for construction paid for by the $249 million Measure J bond – won approval Thursday on a 5-2 vote of Fairfield-Suisun School District trustees.

David Isom, who along with Trustees Judi Honeychurch, Joan Gaut, Johnathan Richardson and John Silva voted for the labor agreement, said he had received more than 50 emails that looked like cut-and-paste messages opposing the pact.“I did a lot of research,” Isom said of the agreement.
