Travis promotes alternative ed chief to lead Student Services – Daily Republic

The principal at the Travis Education Center and Community Day School has been promoted to director of Student Services at the Travis School District.

The district announced the promotion of Allyson Rude-Azevedo, a 21-year veteran at the district, Monday. The position had been filled by Matt Smith, who is retiring.

Rude-Azevedo has a bachelor’s degree in social sciences from California State University, Stanislaus, and a master’s in educational administration and curriculum and instruction from Chapman University.
