School District trustees will consider approval Thursday of a plan to help secure future funding for the local preschool program.

Assistant Superintendent Sasha Begell has asked the school board to appoint Preschool Principal Lauren Hylton to serve as the applicant on behalf of the district for submission of a continued funding application for the California State Preschool Program.

This continued funding application is required by the state to serve as notification of intent to continue services for the next contract period.
