A pair of school district officials will seek approval Thursday to apply for state funding to benefit the city’s schools.

Associate Superintendent Ed Santopadre and Director of Secondary Education Ali Eeds will request approval of the Educator Effectiveness Block Grant Plan for Vacaville School District schools and local charter schools.

The plans will support the professional development for teachers, administrators and paraprofessionals who interact with students.
