Trustees of the Travis School District approved a grant plan Tuesday to train teachers and other staff to better serve students.

The district will receive approximately $1.139 million in Educator Effectiveness Block Grant Funds for professional development for teachers, administrators, paraprofessionals who work with students and classified staff who interact with students.

The funds may be used through the 2025-26 academic year.
