Supervisors finalize ARPA funding support for business, workforce needs – Daily Republic

The Solano County Board of Supervisors, following up on previous action, formally allocated $4.8 million in American Rescue Plan Act funding for a variety of business and workforce programs.

The board approved $736,455 to the Workforce Development Board of Solano County and the Solano-Napa Small Business Development Center so those agencies could continue delivering services to their clients.

The supervisors also approved $3 million to start a Solano County Housing Trust Fund, $600,000 to support the Parkside Flats affordable housing development in Fairfield; $250,000 for housing counseling contract services, and $215,000 to the Habitat for Humanity for its housing project in Fairfield.
