Superintendent John Niederkorn bids Vacaville district adieu – The Reporter

Vacaville Unified leaders praised outgoing Superintendent John Niederkorn during a Thursday governing board meeting , the longtime educator’s last after 39 years of service to California public schools, including the past two in the district’s top post and seven as its chief business officer.

Niederkorn’s last official work day was Friday, but he was not expected to be in the office. His replacement, Ken Jacopetti, a superintendent from the East Bay Byron Union School District, moves into the office Monday.
