No other school in Fairfield has celebrated more graduating classes than Armijo High School, hitting yet another memorable milestone in the school’s history with the 125th class of seniors accepting diplomas Thursday at Brownlee Field.
More than 500 graduates, outfitted in purple and gold caps and gowns, filled the seats lining the football field, enduring just a bit of uncomfortably warm weather, which was a fitting conclusion to a four-year journey.
Many of the speakers who helped start the festivities referenced the many struggles and adversity the class had faced as a whole.
