Former Vacaville High School Bulldog Anthony Gonsolin earns Single-A promotion – The Reporter

Former Vacaville High School baseball player Anthony Gonsolin is making waves and turning more than a few heads in the Los Angeles Dodgers farm system these days.

After being selected by the Dodgers in the ninth round of the 2016 MLB Draft earlier this summer, Gonsolin was sent to play for the Dodgers’ rookie affiliate, the Ogden Raptors. But it didn’t take long for him to move up the first peg of the MLB ladder.

Gonsolin, a 2012 Bulldog graduate, enjoyed a stellar summer with the Raptors this year. In 10 appearances with Ogden, he posted a 2.60 ERA with 15 strikeouts against just five walks.
