It’s the home stretch for renovations at the newly christened CC Sabathia Field at Patterson Park.
Thanks in part to this winter’s unusual but abundant sunshine, the field renamed Tuesday by the Vallejo school board will be ready in time for the Jan. 27 dedication, said Stephen Eriksen, director of development at Sabathia’s nonprofit PitCCh In Foundation.
