FAIRFIELD — The Fairfield-Suisun School District honored some of its best and brightest seniors at the second annual Highest Honors awards ceremony Thursday.
Proud family and friends cheered for the 76 students from Armijo, Fairfield and Rodriguez high schools who earned a 4.0 GPA or higher.
Superintendent Jacki Cottingim-Dias was the first to address the group of graduating seniors.
“Smart is not something you are born with, it’s something you become,” she said. “Each and every one of you has become smart.”
