Thank you, teachers, for helping to save extracurricular activities. I agree with board member Mr. Polk, “They have given. Now it is up to others.” We are in financial times that will take a long time to recover and changes need to be made. The community is going to have to step up not necessarily with taxes, but with donations. With donations we know where the money is going.
Mr. Polk and the other board members need to step in, also. How many administrators do we need at the school and district level, and how many need to be paid more than $125,000 per year? What does the Solano County Board of Education do that cannot be done at the district level?
