FAIRFIELD — As some 330 Solano Community College graduates cross the stage to get their diplomas on Thursday, the campus also will be awarding several honorary degrees to longtime supporters.

The commencement exercise starts at 10:30 a.m. at Hollister Stadium at the main campus, 4000 Suisun Valley Road, Fairfield. For the second consecutive year, the Solano Middle School band, led by Merlin Chestnut, will play during the event.
