A trip students will make Monday to Sacramento follows the petition for a post-Halloween holiday that helped get state Assemblyman Jim Frazier to the eighth-grade class at Green Valley Middle School and his invitation for students to visit the state Capitol.

They’ll tour the Capitol from 10 to 11 a.m. and meet with Frazier at 1 p.m., the assemblyman’s office said.

He spoke to students Dec. 10, 2013, at the school and invited them to tour the state Capitol and sit in the Assembly gallery to observe lawmakers in session.
