The evolving saga that involves the proposed eventual takeover of the Solano Community College campus police by the county’s Sheriff’s Office is moving forward after a settlement agreement was reached in June between the college district and the Operating Engineers Local 39.

A proposed memorandum of understanding between the college and the Solano County Sheriff’s Office will be presented at Wednesday’s meeting.

Agenda attachments include the memorandum, which outlines the scope and level of services, the administration, assignment and deployment of personnel, length terms, cost of services, billing, termination and a variety of other contractual obligations.
