Speech and interview judges 18 and older are needed for the Bay Region Academic Decathlon, hosted by the Solano County Office of Education.
The event is virtual, so you can volunteer from the comfort of your home.
The event includes 20 high schools from across the bay area. More than 200 high school students will compete in the regional competition.
The Academic Decathlon is a competitive event modeled after the Olympics to stimulate academic achievement and honor “athletes of the mind.” The competition provides high school students the opportunity to participate in an educational forum which fosters a deep respect for knowledge, cooperation and self-esteem.
